Buying gold jewellery wholesale from Turkey can give you a wider catalogue, any karat and shorter lead times. Here is what to check in a manufacturer, how an order runs and which documents ship with it.

Why Istanbul

Istanbul is one of the world’s largest centres for fine gold jewellery manufacturing. Design, casting, chain making, stone setting and finishing all sit within a few kilometres, so a manufacturer here can move from a 3D model to a finished, stamped piece quickly and in any karat. For a wholesaler, that means a wide catalogue, flexible karats and short lead times from one supplier.

What to check in a manufacturer

• Own production. Ask which steps are done in-house. Fewer subcontractors means steadier quality and dates.
• Karat range. You should be able to order the same design in the karat your market sells, from 8K to 22K.
• Stamping. Fineness marks, your own logo and, where required, assay office hallmarks.
• Gold price fixing. Agree when the gold price is fixed. We fix it once your order has been produced, with your approval; nothing is fixed without your yes.
• Track record at fairs. Meeting the team at Vicenzaoro, JCK, Expo Joya or Istanbul Jewelry Show is the fastest way to judge a supplier.

How an order works

• Open a trade account and browse the catalogue.
• Send your selection with karats and colours; we return a quote.
• Approve the order to start production.
• Production takes 3–5 weeks under normal conditions, with two quality checks. When it is complete, the gold price is fixed with your approval.
• Pieces are packed per model and shipped insured by air, to your door or your airport.

Paperwork

Every shipment travels with a commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin. For the European Union we add an A.TR movement certificate: under the EU–Türkiye customs union, industrial goods such as jewellery cross with no customs duty, and only import VAT is due. Other markets apply their own duties; your customs broker can confirm the current rate for heading 7113.

Private label

If you sell under your own brand, we can stamp your logo, adapt existing designs or develop new ones from your sketch. Your designs stay yours and are not offered to other customers.
